Join us for our first class of 2023, the Foundation: Basic Stitches & Granny Squares!

Taught by Stella Harvey, the creator of size-inclusive crochet clothing brand Soft Stella, this class is designed to be an introduction to the foundational concepts of crochet. You can come in with no experience and leave with a detailed booklet of step-by-step instructions and all the materials you’ll need to complete your first project!

Class will be held on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00pm at  Doll Parts Collective (4832 California Ave SW, Seattle WA 98116). 

In this course we’ll cover: 

• The tools of crochet

• Building a foundation chain

• The slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches

• How to make a traditional granny square 

• Joining granny squares 

All supplies will be provided and you’ll take home:

• Crochet hook

• Tapestry needles

• Stitch markers

• Instructional booklet

• Take-home pattern

• Two balls of yarn

Note: This is an in-person only event. This ticket is nonrefundable, but can be transferred to another attendee in advance of the class date.
